Specific Rules For Hades:
Hitless Rules
– No dodge chance or damage nullifiers effect are triggered when something hit your character. You can have boons, cards, etc with those effects as long as you don’t active them.
This includes the Artemis aspect on the Sister Blades
– The only exceptions to this rule are: THE MESSENGER Arcana Card and Selene Hex iframes and invulnerability which ARE ALLOWED
– Taking damage/stagger from traps is a hit, this includes all traps from Oceanus and Fields of Mourning
– The slow effect from Fields of Mourning fog is not considered a hit
– Taking damage from traps or lava is a hit; taking damage from Chaos gates is not a hit. Since you’re entering Chaos gates by your own account and the damage is not dealt by an actual enemy, it will not be considered a hit.
– Some Chaos boons have specific curses that will cause you to get hit, and as such, triggering them will result in an invalid run.
You should be aware of the following curses:
– Maimed: For the next 3–5 encounters, each time you Attack, get hit for 3–5 Health.
– Flayed: For the next 4–6 encounters, each time you Special, get hit for 3–5 Health.
– Addled: For the next 3–5 encounters, each time you Cast, get hit for 3–5 Health.
– Gagged: For the next 3-5 encounters, each time you use Omega Moves, get hit for 5-8 health.
– You’re allowed to take these boons as long as you never trigger their curse effect.
– The Atrophic curse (which causes your life total to be reduced for 3-4 encounters) is not considered a hit.
– Price of Midas, much like Chaos gates, is not considered a hit.
– Hellifish Ink orb attack is not a hit as line of sight it’s reduced for some seconds and you don’t lose health/armor
– Staggers (stars over your head animation) are considered hits except for:
– Staggers caused by vacuum attacks that pull Melinoë into melee range as the effect is bugged
– Staggers (stars over your head animation) caused by allies NPCs (Heracles, Nemesis, etc etc) are NOT CONSIDERED A HIT
– Being affected by Hecate Twilight Curse (transform you in animal with slow) in the fight, IS CONSIDERED A HIT
– Deals with Nemesis where she makes you lose part of your health for a reward is NOT CONSIDERED A HIT
– Activating bubble environment shields in random places of Erebus to protect yourself is NOT CONSIDERED A HIT as it works like an environment wall
– Frinos blocking projectiles is NOT CONSIDERED A HIT
– Staggers out of combat are not a hit. This includes stars over your head.
Damageless Rules
– Deflect boons, dodge% boons, and damage nullifiers are allowed
– White Antler keepsake which reduces your health bar is allowed
– Anything that makes you lose health will end your run – that includes Chaos gates and Price of Midas.
Hitless & Damageless Rules
– All of the Hitless & Damageless rules apply.
