Elden Ring: Nightreign

General Rules
  • Run needs to be done according to the Team Hitless rules
  • Major glitches are not allowed.
  • Any type of visual mod is allowed as long as it does not change gameplay and / or contain modded NSFW content.
  • Mods or other 3rd party software that unlock FPS can alter gameplay (such as hitbox generation, status buildup, unintend map interactions) and as such are not allowed.
  • A ‘hit‘ is broadly defined as a loss of health and/or a stagger caused by an enemy.
  • Hits from player triggered traps count.
  • Environmental damage caused by static features as lava, water, swamp, spikes, campfires do not count as a hit.
  • Fall damage does not count as a hit, but a death from falling does.
  • Blocking an enemy counts as a hit, but a perfect parry does not.
  • Quit-outs are generally not allowed, except while in the Roundtable hold. Quitouts are also allowed when falling through the map due to a glitch (eg. entering invisible walls and then falling through the floor) or stuck in an infinite fall animation as long as no other benefit is gained from the quitout e.g. positional, timing, or weapon pickup advantages.
Specific Elden Ring: Nightreign Rules
  • Blocking is a hit (unless it is a perfect deflect using the Executor’s Cursed Blade/Suncatcher).
  • Death under any circumstance is a hit, including instances such as falling out of the map and dying while in the Rain.
  • Tick damage caused by the Rain is considered environmental and is not a hit.
  • Status buildup is not a hit until the respective status procs.
  • Madness as procced by the inescapable eye during the Libra boss fight is a hit.
  • Mohg’s transition “Nihil” attack is considered scripted and is not considered a hit.
  • Scarlet Rot as procced during the Dreglord boss fight is not a hit.
  • Frost as procced by the Ice Bomb attack during the Caligo Miasma of Night Everdark Sovereign fight is not a hit.
  • Scarlet Rot as procced by the Rotted Woods shifting earth event is not a hit.
  • Madness as procced by the “Power of a Demon” Libra deal is considered self-inflicted and is not considered a hit.
  • Gladius raid HP drain is not considered a hit.
  • Taking damage during the Caligo raid is considered a hit.
  • Losing a level during the Sentient Pest Raid is considered a hit.
  • The use of modded or spawned relics is allowed so long as the relics are a legal/valid combination.
  • Relics used must be shown at the start and end of a run.
  • Triggering Wylder’s Sixth Sense ability and/or the Cold Mirage buff granted from the Caligo raid is a hit.
  • Getting teleported by the Augur or Balancers invasion is not a hit.
Specific Elden Ring: Nightreign Rules Damageless Rules
  • Talismans and/or Weapon Passives which boost player’s HP temporarily (or while equipped) and then go back to initial HP (e.g Crimson Amber Medallion, Guardian’s Grief) are not considered as damage and are allowed.
  • Mohg’s transition “Nihil” attack is considered scripted and thus is not considered taking damage.
  • Gladius raid HP drain is considered unavoidable and thus is not considered taking damage.
  • All other cases of lowering HP outside of the above three points are considered instances of damage.

HUD Rules for Elden Ring: Nightreign

To ensure a smooth verification process by our verifiers, we recommend not covering the following HUD elements. This is particularly important to help the verifier when there is an ambiguous situation, especially during boss fights.

  • Level/HP/FP/Stamina/Buffs (Note that if you have a lot of buffs it can be two lines of buffs and that has to be visible as well)
  • Items Count (Including the pouch)
  • Boss Damage Counter
  • Rune Count (Can also create an OBS element to change its location)
  • Runes Recieved
  • Boss HP Bar
  • Equipment
  • Skill/Ultimate Gauge
