Hitless Rules for Batman: Arkham Knight

General Rules
  • Run needs to be done according to the Team Hitless rules
  • Runs may not contain modded NSFW content
  • Runs for the categories Any%, 100%, DLCs, DLC Season of Infamy and All DLCs must be completed on a fresh save file.
  • Difficulty level must be set to Normal or above.
  • Any instance of damage dealt by an enemy is a hit (both melee and bullets). This applies also to the Batmobile.
  • Voiding (falling down) does NOT count as a hit unless you take damage or a stagger (e.g. stagger from laughing gas).
  • Enemies falling on the character’s head count as hits but not damage.
  • Getting grabbed, (hugged) does NOT count as a hit.
  • Mission failures are considered both hits and damage.
  • Grappling an enemy who wields an electric stick counts both as a hit and damage.
  • Using Robin’s shield to block bullets counts as a hit but not damage.
  • Restarting checkpoint is allowed for the following reasons as long as there is no hit possible:
  • You can restart checkpoint to prevent or fix any softlock.
  • You can restart checkpoint to skip gameplay-free moments e.g. the Vicki Vale helicopter cutscene in Arkham City.
  • 100% category: Restarting checkpoint to trigger random events is allowed e.g. Zsasz calls.
  • Switching to 30FPS to avoid damage on the Panessa Studios wall climb and the excavator cutscene is allowed.
  • Hits to the Batmobile OR Jokermobile will no longer be counted unless it results in a death.  These sections are heavily RNG-dependent and it has been determined that grinding this RNG should be optional at the runner’s discretion. This includes instant grenades when exiting cutscenes. Example

HUD Rules for Batman: Arkham Knight

To ensure a smooth verification process by our verifiers, we recommend not covering the following HUD elements. This is particularly important to help the verifier when there is an ambiguous situation, especially during boss fights.

    • Health
    • Experience bar
    • When splitting a run, showing these items after quitting out and before resuming is mandatory:
    •  Main menu (completion percentage and IGT)
    • Progress stats
    • Experience and skills
