Hitless Speedrun Rules for Sekiro

General Rules
  • Run needs to be done according to the Team Hitless rules
  • Quitouts are only allowed for the common spots according to the rules (e.g. FAP-ring in Dark Souls or Lizards in Original DeS)
  • Show In-game time after the credits
  • If possible show Livesplittimer or any other type of timer on the screen

Specific Rules for Sekiro

  • Run time is counted as In-game time (IGT) and stops as soon as the cutscene is skipped and the credits roll.
  • The usage of Macros, turbo buttons, free scroll wheels, etc. is banned.
  • You must show how you start a run and you must show the IGT at the end of the run even if you use Livesplit (either if you finish at the credits or after them as is often the case in All bosses and minibosses, in this case you will have to quitout in a spot without being aggroed).
  • Reaching the credits, even if you skip them later, is mandatory.
  • Livesplit is mandatory to appear in the table if you run on PC, if you run on console you don‘t need to show it since you won‘t have the possibility to use it as IGT.
  • Quitouts are forbidden to speed up loading screens (like for example when killing the Fake Monk to speed up the process of getting the stone doors to open faster).
  • Crashing the game or closing the game with ALT+F4 will cause the run to be considered an invalid run.
  • You must follow all the hitless rules for Sekiro mentioned in the hitless rules section of this website, unless something in these rules overwrite a regular rule, then that hitless-speedrun rule will be the one to go.
  • Speeder mods (like no popups) are banned.
